WIWTW (What I Wore This Week) #46

Hi there!

I got a new camera last week (yay!) so I had to play around with the setting when I was taking these outfit photos. I haven't got the settings perfect, as I look a little washed out in these snaps, but I'll get there!!!

Back to what you're actually here for eh? For work on Tuesday I wore my peachy peplum tshirt. I like how it looks with my lighter wash jeans and nude loafers. A summery outfit without having too much skin on show coz it's getting a bit too chilly for that!

Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain // Barcelona Nights & Parisian Passion

For a few weeks now I've been seeing YouTubers mentioning the new Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains, but up until very recently, they weren't available in the UK. I was browsing the aisles in Boots and noticed these beauties on a stand of their own. Even better, they were on offer, two for £10, so of course I picked up two!

One Year Blog Anniversary // My Favourite Outfits

OK OK, so technically it's not really my blogs one year anniversary. I started blogging a lonnnng time before that, but kind of gave it up, deleted all my posts as I hated how they looked. A year ago today I decided to get back into blogging and haven't looked back. I love everything about blogging, from coming up with post ideas, taking photographs and putting the posts together. I also really love the blogging community, chatting to girls on Twitter and Instagram that I would of never 'met' if I hadn't started blogging again.

Since I started this blog as a fashion blog, I thought I'd share with you my favourite outfits from the last year...

Monday Wishlist #28

Wishlist feat. River Island; Warehouse; Topshop

1. River Island Black Faux Fur Lined Waterfall Jacket: This jacket looks like it would be so cosy, while still looking stylish. I love a good winter coat, but I always feel bundled up, not chic like other people do in their winter coats! I think this one would look great with a chunky black scarf.

2. Topshop Rib Funnel Top: I have a couple of similar tops to this from New Look and really like them. They're good basics to wear with high waisted jeans or skirts. The roll neck gives it a 90's vibe, and the forest green colour is perfect for autumn.

3. Topshop Leopard Print Pelmet Skirt: I am in love with this skirt. I don't own much leopard print, but I need this in my wardrobe. It'd look great with a pair of black heeled knee high boots, a black roll neck sweater and a burgundy lip.

4. Warehouse Butterfly Print Scuba Trousers: We all know I love a good pair of printed trousers. The print is gorgeous, you could pick any of the colours from the print and weara top in that colour. I think I'd wear an orange cami with them.

WIWTW (What I Wore This Week) #45

Last Sunday I went out for drinks with my work friends for someone's leaving do. As it was a Sunday night, I didn't want to get too dressed up. Definitely not Saturday night dressed up. I decided to go for a pair of high waisted jeans, a crop top, and threw a blazer over the top. A pair of heeled ankle boots finished off the outfit nicely.

Blazer = New Look/Crop Top = New Look/Jeans = ASOS/Boots = New Look (similar)

For work on Tuesday I wore the same ripped jeans, as they're so comfotable, and my oversized baseball tee. I like to tuck it in a bit to emphasize my waist a little bit. My flip flops are my go to work shoe, but very soon it's going to be too cold to wear them for work! I'm not really sure what I'm going to replace them with yet :(

My Must Have Make-up Brushes

I chat about lipstick  make-up a lot on this blog, but I don't really share which make-up brushes I use. Today I thought I'd share with you the make-up brushes I use on an everyday basis.

BLEACH Hair Crayon in Bruised Violet // My Thoughts

I tried out the BLEACH London Super Cool colours in Rose and Bruised Violet late last year when they first launched. For the last eight or nine years I've never been worried about changing up my hair, and have enjoyed experimenting with various colours.  So when I saw that BLEACH London were releasing a range of hair crayons which promised to be easy to apply and semi-permanent, I couldn't wait to have a go.

How I Style: The Baseball Tee #2

Yesterday I showed you how I styled my baseball tee casually, you can see that post here if you missed it. Today, I thought I'd dress it up a little. For me, this is still quite a casual outfit. I 'd wear it to go shopping with the girls, or even for a cinema date.

I like the contrast of the very casual baseball tee, with the smarter pencil skirt. What makes this outfit work is the colour palette. Pulling in the pink from the sleeves of the top with the pink in the tropical print on the skirt.

How I Style: The Baseball Tee #1

I'm always attracted to quite plain, basic tops, but then don't tend to wear them much as I like something a little more interesting. This week I thought I'd challenge myself to come up with two interesting outfits, styling this fairly basic baseball tee.

Outfit is a casual outfit. Denim shorts paired with a t shirt is a classic outfit that I rarely wear, but I really like how it looks. My pink skater shoes are what lifts this outfit and gives it a more interesting look.

Monday Wishlist #27

Wishlist featuring Topshop, Miss Selfridge & ASOS.com

1. Miss Selfridge Red Fine Gauge Peplum Jumper: Orange a great colour that still looks as good in autumn/winter as it does in the summer months. Sometimes I find that knitwear overwhelms my petite shape, so a fine knit like this one is what I tend to go for. I'd wear this jumpper with a pair of black skinny jeans, or some monochrome printed trousers for a more formal look.

2&3. Miss Selfridge Floral Jacquard Shell Top & Shorts: I love a good co‐ord, and there's something about the gorgeous autumnal colours that have got me lusting after this beauty. I could imagine wearing this little set with some opaque tights, heeled ankle boots, and the Red Fedora I featured in last week's Monday Wishlist

4. Topshop Patterned Slouchy Cardigan: As soon as the weather starts getting a little chilly, cardigans become my best friends. Khaki and burgundy are my staple autumn colours, therefore this gorgeous knit would fit right into my wardrobe.

5. ASOS Estate Ankle Boots: 70's style shoes are going to be huge this season. We all know I love ankle boots, and I've been eyeing up this ASOS pair to add to my shoe collection. The tan colour means they will be perfect with all the rich autumn colours making their way into my wardrobe.

Monday Wishlist #26

1. New Look Black Waffle Texture Wrap Crop Top: These curved hem crop tops are so flattering. As I'm writing this I feel like I've already talked about something similar, never mind! Just shows that I really like this style ha. This would be a great top to throw on with anything from denim shorts, to full skirts and high-waisted printed trousers. I'm going to have to pick one up!

2. New Look Pink Jacquard Floral Print Tunic Dress: I've seen this dress in-store and it's such a nice fabric. It has a slight shimmer in the print, which is normally not my thing but it looks so nice on this particular dress. I really like the ripped neckline, it gives it a sporty edge.

3. Miss Selfridge Oxblood Felt Fedora: I really like hats, on other people. For some reason I feel like I just can't pull them off. Maybe once my hair has grown to the length I want it I'll feel differently. Until then, I'll be dreaming about wearing this fedora with all my autumn winter outfits this coming season.

4. ASOS Justify Suede Flat Shoes: Recently I've only been wearing flat sandals for work as they're super comfortable. I was thinking the other day, what am I going to wear on my feet when the weather gets cooler?. You know when it's too cool for sandals but not quite cold enough for boots. I came across these flat shoes on ASOS yesterday and thought they would be the perfect answer. Kind of sandal, but a little more covered up. They'd also go with anything I wanted to wear for work; jeans, dresses, skirts etc.

5. River Island Black Animal Print Pony Skin Clutch Bag: As we all know, I love me some pattern clashing. What I love the most about the pattern clash clutch is that the colours are all neutrals. So although pattern-wise there's a lot going on, you could still use this clutch just like a black or nude one. You could also make more of a statement out of this bag by wearing an all black outfit with it.

Bumble & Bumble Grooming Creme // My Thoughts

I'm a sucker for a new hair product, and when I saw that Boots stocked Bumble & Bumble, and that you could buy miniature products, and I got a bit over excited! I really like that you can buy miniatures, as you never know if you're going to like the product or not.

I saw Mary from Another's Girls Life using the Bumble & Bumble Grooming Creme in a video, and that it would be a great product to tame my frizzy hair, without leaving it weighed down and lifeless.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum‐In‐Oil // My Thoughts

I've had this product for a few months now, since April to be exact. I was running out of my Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum so decided to give a more affordable option a go. There was quite a bit of hype over the release of the new Vitamin E Serum in Oil from The Body Shop, so  decided to give it a go.

How I Style: New Season Now #2

I featured this beautiful River Island tartan cape in a Monday Wishlist a few weeks, and couldn't help but buy to put it away for autumn. Thing is, I couldn't wait until autumn to wear it! Here's how I'd wear it now....

At the moment it's a little too warm to wear this cape during the day, so I'd use it as a cover up on a night out. Imagine drinking cocktails with the girls in a beer garden. It'll get a little chilly as the night goes on, so throw over this cape, which is basically a blanket, to keep snuggly warm!

How I Style: New Season Now #1

It's August, and as I'm sitting at my laptop it's a gorgeous day outside. But I'm not thinking about the summer, no. I'm thinking about all the beautiful new season Autumn clothing that's flooding into the High Street stores now. I've already bought a couple of Autumn/Winter bits, and I'm dying to start to wearing them, so this week I thought I'd show you how I style New Season Now...

Remember how everything (including me) got a little plaid crazy last year? Well it's back! Which is good thing as it means I can pull out all my Autumn/Winter clothes from last year. I bought these gorgeous navy and red check trousers a couple of weeks, and just couldn't wait until Autumn to start wearing them. To make them a little more warm weather friendly, I've paired them with a lightweight cami and a pair of red pointy heels. The perfect look for a night out with the girls. In fact, I just might wear this outfit on Saturday night...

Monday Wishlist #25

Monday Wishlist

1. River Island Dinosaur T-shirt: This is such a cute t shirt. I love that it says Dinosaur, but it also says Dior. A great tee to throw on with any kind of outfit.

2. New Look Khaki Midi Dress: I don't know why, but I really like khaki in the autumn. I'm not normally a green kinda girl, but I love khaki. This dress would look great with a leather jacket and a pair of ankle boots, or with a pair of black sandals now.

3. River Island Pink Leather Look Mini Skirt: I saw this skirt instore and it's sooooo nice. I've always love the pink and grey colour combination, so I'd wear this skirt with a grey tee.

4. Nike Black Air Max Thea: So here's the thing. I NEED a pair of these trainers. There's so many outfits that I can imagine styling them with. I'll have to start saving as they come with an £85 price tag :/

The Cat Tag

I was browsing through Bloglovin this morning when I came across Georgie's Cat Tag over on Bean's Beauty Blog. Being the crazy cat lady that I am, I thought I'd give it a go :)

I'm going to share my Five Favourite Items in My Wardrobe with you today. I like to see what are other people's favourites, as you don't tend to see the same items repeated on blogs. Here are my favourites...
