Monday Wishlist #59

1. Topshop Oversized Floral Print Playsuit: I love a palysuit for a night out. I've said it before, I feel much more comfortable in a playsuit than a floaty dress. Imagine this one with a tan in the summer. Gorgeous.

2. River Island Beige Wrap Front Long Sleeve Top: These wrap front tops are super popular right now, and I can see why. They can be dressed up or down, and are super flattering. I'd wear this with a pair of blue skinny jeans and a pair of converse for a relaxed day look.

3. Topshop Utility Shirt Dress: I really like the clean look of this shirt dress, another item that could easily be dressed up or down. Wear with a gold statement necklace under the collar for a night out.

4. New Look Stone Ankle Strap Block Heel Sandal: Perfect summer heels. They look like they'd be comfortable enough to wear during the day with summer dresses, but they'd be perfect for evenings out, too.

Outfit | Double Leopard Print

I love a bit of leopard print, but I don't often double up on the same print. I decided to give it a go with this outfit as the leopard print on my boots is subtle, and can only be seen from the back/sides. I kept the rest of my outfit black, layering a 3/4 sleeve black top underneath the dress and sticking on a pair of black opaque tights.

Hillarys Blinds Crafternoon at the Jazz Cafe

Almost two weeks, on a very windy Saturday, I jumped on the bus along to Newcastle to meet up with some fellow North East bloggers and headed over to the Jazz Cafe for the Hillarys Blinds Crafternoon

This was the first blogging event I had been invited to. I was really excited to go, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! When we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely guys from Joe Blogs (the blogging network that organised the event), told to grab a table and tea/coffee if we fancied it. I sat with Beca from Those Moments of Serendipity and Louise from Lou Lou Land . Go check out their blogs, both lovely ladies!

For the event, Hillarys Blinds had teamed up with the ladies from The Crafty Hen for a bloggers Crafternoon!

Outfit | Checked Midi Shirt

I grabbed this Midi shirt just before Christmas as it was on sale for only £7, what a bargain!!! It's a great piece to wear buttoned up, over a pair of leggings, for casual days.

Monday Wishlist #56

1. River Island Aztec Drape Coat: I love a statement coat. I'd wear this over a pair of blue skinny jeans and a plain white t-shirt. A pair of tan ankle boots would complement the burgundy in the coat.

2. Topshop Button Through Floral Skirt: This skirt screams 70's, which is so on trend right now. You could pick any of the colours from the print and find a cami in that colour to wear with this skirt. I think it would look great with a white v-neck t-shirt for a casual look.

3. River Island Yellow Tassel Bag: A brightly coloured bag may not seem like the most practical choice, but imagine it with an all black outfit, or with tonal colours like creams and tans.

4. River Island Dark Red Bardot Dress: I'm loving bardot dress, this one is in a wintry colour, yet the floaty style means it will look great in the summer months with tan sandals.

How to Wear Red Lipstick

As you're reading this, I'll be in Disneyland Paris. Unless you're reading it next week, then I won't be! Anyway, as soon as I knew I was going to Disneyland, I decided I'd be buying a pair of Mini Mouse ears to wear the whole time. As they have a red and white polka dot bow on them, red lipstick was always going to be the make-up look I was going to go for. Have I thought too much into this? Nahh!

Outfit | Parisian Chic

As you're reading this I'll be in Disneyland Paris, taking selfies with Mickey Mouse (Hopefully!). For this week's outfit post, I thought I'd go for a Parisian theme, although technically I'm not really going to Paris!

Monday Wishlist #55

1. River Island Grey Longline Side Split Dress: Grey. Check. Longline. Check. Cowl Neck. Check. This knitted dress has everything that I'm loving in fashion right now! The textured pattern of the knit is a bit more unusual, too. A pair of black heeled ankle boots and a black leather jacket would make such a cool, casual outfit.

2. Miss Selfridge Utility Playsuit: As well as grey, khaki is one of the 'it' colours at the moment. You could dress this playsuit up or down. Simply add a pair of heels and lots of gold jewellery for a night out, or add a black t-shirt underneath, black tights and ankle boots for a casual look.

3. New Look Khaki Cross Strap Heels: Pointed heels are the most flattering on me, I think. I love these khaki ones as I'd use them as they look great with any of the cream, camel or nude tones that are all over the high street right now.

4. River Island Blue Stripe Wrap Front Blouse: Another super flattering item, the wrap blouse. They're everywhere right now and I'm loving the nautical twist this stripy one has. Wear with a red lip for a glam but casual look.
