The Perfect Autumn Lip | MAC's D for Danger

A couple of weeks ago, I realised I had six empty MAC products, which meant it was time for a back to MAC. Back to MAC is a programme where you take six empty products back to MAC so they can recycle. MAC then lets you pick a free lipstick in return for them. Who doesn't want a free lippie, right?

Autumn's Most Wanted | Going Out Dresses

So I know it's early to be thinking about your Christmas party outfits, but it isn't really. It's *almost* November, which means Christmas isn't actually that far away! Argh!

I like to go super glam for Christmas parties, so think metallic, sparkles or sequins! I think I'm going to wearing the River Island black sparkly prom dress as it fits into the 80's theme of my work party.

YSL - Style is Eternal | The Bowes Museum

Yesterday I (finally) got to visit the Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle. The YSL -Style is Eternal exhibition is the reason I headed down there, but we also had a browse around the museum. Which, by the way, is beautiful!

I wanted to write this post straight away as there's not long left to visit this exhibition, just a heads up. So if you like what you see, get yourself there before the 8th November!

My photographs don't do the exhibition justice at all, being so close to these beautifully, hand-crafted garments is a dream for any fashion lover. like myself.

Kiko Rebel Romantic Collection | Lip Pencil & Lipstick

Kiko opened a store in Eldon Square, Newcastle, a few months back, and I had to pay a visit in it's opening week. While I was in Rome last year I popped into the Kiko store there, purchasing a an eyeshadow palette which I ended up being super impressed with.

I decided to purchase a few items on most most recent visit to Kiko, and the Rebel Romantic collection caught my eye. This was more than likely due to the beautiful packaging.

Autumn's Most Wanted | Boots

Following on from last week's Autumn's Most Wanted, I thought I'd share the boots I've been lusting after. If you've been reading this blog for a while, you'll know I have a bit of an obsession with boots. Any kind of boot. Flats, heels, ankle, knee high, over the knee. I love them all. Obviously I want to add a new pair (or two) to my autumn wardrobe...

Guest Post | An Aussie Beauty Junkie Loves...

Greetings to all the beauty junkies out there from an ordinary Aussie. I have always been a bit of a girl-from-the-next-door type – a straight-A student, never did anything extremely crazy in my life, I studied literature, and wanted to be a teacher. There is one thing, though, that I am maniacal about – make-up. I am constantly buying and trying new products, and no make-up trend can pass by me unnoticed. I look forward to weekends and any special occasions, because then I can let myself loose and wear all the make-up I want. I used to make a lot of mistakes buying wrong products, but now I use only the best.

For the readers of this blog, I will reveal my favourite make-up and cosmetics brands:

1. Jane Iredale cosmetics

Jane Iredale mineral make-up is great for all skin types as they use natural ingredients that do not irritate the skin. My personal favourite is PurePressed Base Foundation. This matte foundation comes in amazing 24 shades. Loaded with minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins, it will make your skin both healthy and beautiful. The minerals create a protective layer with an SPF 20, so you can use it as a sunscreen as well. They also prevent smearing, giving you a longer-lasting beautiful look. Pine bark and pomegranate extract are great antioxidants. If your skin is sensitive like mine, they will soothe the inflammation.

Autumn's Most Wanted | Coats

As I'm currently stuck in the house with a sprained ankle (I know, I know, poor me!) there's no outfit post from me this week. Instead, I thought I'd share with you the coats I'm lusting after for this winter. Can you tell I'm into neutrals?

House of Fraser & INTU Metrocentre Event

Last week I was invited along to House of Fraser at the Metrocentre to celebrate the (almost) completion of  the refurbishment of the store, which is actually due to be completed today!

Once completed, the new look store will house an expansive beauty hall, which will include several newbrands such as Giorgio Armani, Jo Malone, Tom Ford, Nars, Urban Decay, Crème de la Mer, and Kiehls. It will also include beauty services such as a SHOW blow dry bar, Nails Inc nail bar, Estee Lauder 10 minute beauty bar, and a Decleor Spa.

My Favourite Autumn Lip Combinations

Not so long ago I wouldn't of even thought considered wearing lip line. I felt I didn't need one, and applied my lipstick straight from the bullet without a brush. All that has changed recently, and I find myself searching for a lip liner to go with every lipstick I wear.

Here are three of my favourite lip liner/lipstick combinations I'm going to be wearing this Autumn...

Faux Fur At The Beach

If you saw my last post, all about the #BloggersWhitleyBayHoliday, then you've already had a sneak peek at today's outfit post.

I was feeling very autumnal when I picked out my roll neck jumper dress and faux fur gilet combo that day. In reality I should have worn a summer dress and sandals, as it turned out to be one of the warmest days we'd had in a while!

#BloggersWhitleyBayHoliday

A few weeks ago I was invited along to Whitley Bay Holiday Park by the lovely Beca Alderson, who just happens to be one of my bestest buddies. The idea of the visit was to have a look around the park, view a few of the caravans, and sample some lunch in the club house.

I have stayed in caravans in the past, and after seeing these beautiful caravans I definitely would again. You can information about buying/staying at Whitley Bay Holiday Park here
