What's on my Brows? | Chanel Brow Palette Duo

At the Launch of Fenwick Beauty Week in Newcastle a couple of weeks ago I got treated to a brows and lips masterclass at at Chanel. I loved how my brows looked at the end, and as I really needed a new brow product, I decided to take the plunge and and purchase the Chanel Brow Palette Duo. A £37, it was a but of a luxury purchase for me. But you gotta treat yo self sometimes, don't you!?

In the palette there are lighter and darker brow powder shades, mini tweezers, spooly and angled brush.

The Perfect Spring Jacket | Sateen Bomber

We're at that time of the year where it's too warm to wear an actual coat, but too cool not to wear a jacket at all. That's where the sateen bomber jacket comes in. Lightweight enough not to leave you in a hot mess, but it'll still keep the chill out.

My sateen bomber is from the New Look petite range, so it fits me perfectly. I actually received this from the guys at Octer, though. Octer is a website with womenswear, menswear, kids clothing, beauty, interiors and even technology. You name it, it's on there. When you find an item you like, click 'buy' and you're directed to the website where the item is actually stocked.

How I Edit and Schedule my Instagram Posts

I never upload images to Instagram straight from my phone. Ever. I like to take photos with my DSLR, and I like to have a white border around all them, too. It's a little bit of a process I go through to edit and schedule my images, so I decided to share with you how I do it, and the apps I use.

First up, the editing process. I use pixlr.com to edit and re-size my images. I either upload the images I want to use from my SD card, or if there does happen to be an image on my phone I want to use I simply upload that image to the Dropbox app on my phone, which in turn automatically uploads the image to the Dropbox folder on my laptop. Super simple.

Non-UV Gel Nails | Rimmel vs Barry M

I don't wear nail polish very often, and when I do it seems to chip as soon as it's dry. On the rare occasion I do paint my nails, I'd like it to last more than a few hours without chipping. That's where gel nails come in...

I can't actually have 'real' UV gel nails, as I can't wear nail polish for work. This is why I was interested in non-UV gel nail polish which can be removed with standard nail polish remover but claims to last longer than regular nail polish.

Inspired by Alexa | Part III

Today is the third and final (and possibly my favourite) outfit Inspired by Alexa. This week I was inspired by this image, and I think this is the most spot on of the three outfits.

I love white jeans for spring/summer, they're so light and fresh. Pairing white jeans with a white shirt gives it a smarter look.

Styling Ladder Shelving

When I decided to re-decorate my bedroom last summer, I came across ladder shelving and I knew I wanted some for my newly decorated room. I searched Amazon, came across these white ladder shelves and snapped them up. Most of the others online weren't very big at all and I wanted a full size set of shelves.

I don't really use mine as a book shelf as such, more just for decoration.

New from Chanel | Rouge Coco Stylo

At the Fenwick Beauty Week Launch I was kindly given one of the new Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo Lipsticks in my goody bag. I was super excited to have my first Chanel lipstick and couldn't wait to try it out. I received the shade 206 Histoire - a fresh, vibrant and intense red.

The Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo is described as a lipstick for "women who don't want to choose between colour, shine and lip care. In one easy step, this lipstick pen accentuates a style and personality to match every mood and colour."

Inspired by Alexa | Part II

If you caught last Wednesday's post, Inspired by Alexa | Part I, you'll know that I've been inspired by my Alexa Chung board on Pinterest to put together some outfits inspired by the style icon. Here's the second in the series...

I was inspired by this outfit and immediately thought of my checked pinafore dress. I decided to layer a plain white shirt under this dress, the opposite of Alexa's plain black dress with a monochrome printed shirt underneath.

Sea & Soil, Amble | A (besties) Date Night

A couple of weeks ago, on my birthday, my bestie and I decided to treat ourselves to a date night at Sea & Soil, Amble. The restaurant has been open for a few years now, but we just hadn't gotten around to trying it out, so as a birthday treat we decided to (eventually) eat out at Sea & Soil.

When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was that there was only us and one other customer in the restaurant. The atmosphere was very friendly and cosy though, not uncomfortable at all. I loved the rustic d├ęcor and lighting. We sat by the window, which was great for people watching. The playlist was fab, too - Tom Odel, James Bay and Jason Mraz all added to the relaxed vibe Sea & Soil have going on.

Beauty Week Launch | Fenwick Newcastle

On Tuesday I spent the evening being pampered in the Fenwick Beauty Hall at the Chanel and Tom Ford counters, all in the name of launching Fenwick Beauty Week.

Fenwick Beauty Week officially launches tomorrow, Saturday 7th May, through to Saturday 14th May. During this week there are various lie beauty demonstrations, including a Clarins Summer Skin masterclass on Tuesday, Laura Mercier Flawless Face make-up tutorial on Wednesday, and the one I'm looking forward to, Charlotte Tilbury's How to Achieve the Golden Goddess on Friday. I've already got my name down for the later!

Inspired by Alexa | Part I

I've never really had a style icon, not really. I get inspired by certain outfits worn by celebrities, but not necessarily their style as a whole.

Alexa Chung is someone who's outfits inspire me for sure. I recently created an Alexa Chung style board on Pinterest, and as I found myself pinning quite a few of Alexa's outfits I decided to form some outfits of my own, inspired by images of Alex I'd pinned.

Five Guys Metrocentre | The Best Burger in Toon?

I first discovered Five Guys in Covent Garden, London about two or three years ago. Since then any chance I've had to have a Five Guys burger I've been all over it. I was so excited when I found out there was a branch opening in the Metrocentre, it's felt like such a long wait!

The first chance I got, I made sure I paid Five Guys, Metrocentre a visit. I opted for the Bacon CheeseBurger and chose lettuce, grilled mushrooms, onions, mayo and BBQ sauce on the top. The toppings are free and you can choose as many as you fancy.
